Grenache 2007 Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes 14.7%
This 100% Grenache is from very old vines on Schist soils in the Agly Valley. High altitude and cooling mountain winds temper the fierce summer heat to give a long, balanced growing season.
Four weeks post-ferment maceration adds fine tannins and length to this exuberant red wine. Forest fruits mingle with wild herbs and coffee notes.

Chardonnay 2007 Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes 13.6%
At the very top of the valley, the village of Caudiès has the perfect cool climate for quality white wine production. Cold nights and warm, sunny days on limestone/clay soils give body and texture to this vibrant white. Soft acidity, subtle tropical fruits and good mouthfeel.
